More fun racing this weekend at the Oakcliff Triple Crown Stage 3. We had awesome breeze on day two and hit some high speeds (and heights) on the foils. Pulled some wins off against our training partners in the breeze and sailed hard in tough and shifty conditions all weekend. We ended the event in second place and happy with improvements in decision making and comms. After a few days off we will head to Auckland, New Zealand for a month of training before we race the World Championship in December. Go USA 50!
The 2019 Worlds was an amazing week of sailing - beautiful weather, seabreeze (2 kinds!), chop, sunshine, and an incredibly competitive fleet of foiling pros. Proud to be repping the USA, Kolter, Hyatt, Kilroy, Moore & Co., Helly Hansen, Harken, Marlow, and the US Sailing Team at the event. We had some stellar races in the top 5, and found ourselves playing with the best in Gold Fleet. Equipment failure on day 4, but we still pulled it together and finished strong on the last day with another top 5! Proud of our team. Currently second in the US Olympic Trials with a lot to play for. Two months until the next qualifying event, the 2020 Nacra Worlds… really excited to get down to Australia and keep putting our hard work to the test. Thank you to all of you for supporting us and following the journey. We are honored to be ripping it up with the best in the world. Now, a few weeks off to see our families at home, and then back at it.
