Many years ago, Sarah and David's coach Tom Zajac raced against them in the Nacra 17 fleet. Tom and his coach had nicknames for Sarah and David. How fun! Sarah was called "Strawberry" because when you combine the "S" in Sarah with the "berry" in Newberry, it is reminiscent of the yummy red fruit. Not to be left out, David earned the nickname "Love Mountain" because in German "Lieben" means "love" and "berg" means "mountain." We love being Strawberry and Love Mountain, and our good friend Allison Chenard collaborated with Tom to create this beautiful illustration for us.
